Storage Tank

Storage tanks are specialized pieces of equipment used to store liquids or gases at ambient pressure. They are commonly used in a variety of industries, including oil and gas, chemical, and food processing. Non-pressurized storage tanks are typically made from materials such as steel, stainless steel or special polymer  such as FRP and are designed to be durable and corrosion-resistant.

There are several type of storage tank:

  • Aboveground storage tanks (ASTs): Aboveground storage tanks are tanks that are placed above the ground and are used to store a variety of liquids and gases. They may be made from materials such as steel, fiberglass, or plastic, and are typically used for storing liquids such as water, fuel, and chemicals.
  • Underground storage tanks (USTs): Underground storage tanks are tanks that are placed underground and are used to store a variety of liquids and gases. They may be made from materials such as steel, fiberglass, or plastic, and are typically used for storing fuels such as gasoline and diesel.
  • Double wall storage tanks: Double wall storage tanks are tanks that are constructed with two layers of walls, with a space between the layers. They are used to store a variety of liquids and gases, and are typically used in applications where the risk of leakage or spillage is high.
  • Fixed roof storage tanks: Fixed roof storage tanks are tanks that are equipped with a fixed roof, which is typically made from steel or other materials. They are used to store a variety of liquids and gases, and are typically used in applications where the fluid being stored is not highly volatile.
  • Floating roof storage tanks: Floating roof storage tanks are tanks that are equipped with a floating roof, which is designed to rise and fall with the level of the fluid being stored. They are used to store a variety of liquids and gases, and are typically used in applications where the fluid being stored is
