Indonesia’s government seek bids for mini refinery project.

The Energy and mineral resources ministry has invited bid for financing, land acquisition, engineering, procurement and construction contract
for around 20,000 barrels of oil per day oil refinery.

The registration date for bids is sets on Jan 16th until Jan 18, 2017.
Venue: Gedung Migas 1st floor, Oil and Gas Investment Service.

The mini refinery will be located in Osel and Bula Block, Maluku province. This mini refinery is part of the government’s plan to develop eight mini refinery across the country.

Indonesia has recently issued a regulation to encourage the development of small scale refineries. The regulation is a Ministerial Regulation no 22 year 2016 on the implementation of the development of small scale refineries. The regulation intended to support the national energy resilience, provide more supplies of fuel on the domestic market, improve efficiency in oil and gas upstream activities particularly in marginal fields etc.
